About us

The Lab-on-a-Chip research group successfully develops customized Lab-on-a-Chip systems since 2002. With currently over 25 engineers, the group is under joint management of the Institut für Mikro- und Informationstechnik of the Hahn-Schickard-Gesellschaft (HSG-IMIT) as well as the Laboratory for MEMS Applications and the Laboratory for Process Technology of the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK). With its extensive background, the Lab-on-a-Chip Design & Foundry Service offers you access to fast and inexpensive implementation of biochemical assays in Lab-on-a-Chip platforms.
